I’ll be starting a series of “Friday Favorites,” and I’ll probably rotate the different favorites topics once I get through them all.
This weeks Friday Favorites will be a baby edition. All things I love for babies. I have three children(almost four year old twins and an 18 month old) so you can just imagine the amount of things I’ve tried and have fallen in love with.
It is a week of head colds and fevers in our house so I thought what better time than now to talk about the regimen I’ve used for a few years that has really helped them.

The Safety 1st Soothing Cool Mist Humidifier(or humidifiers because we own three) really helps the stuffy nose, can’t sleep because breathing is difficult, restlessness. All three of our humidifiers are made by Safety 1st and we love them. One of them we’ve had for almost four years now and it’s still going strong.
After filling the humidifier tank, I also add a few drops of DoTerra Breathe essential oil into the tank. That really seems to do the trick.
For small little ones with stuffy noses, I used to use the bulb to suck out the boogies and while it was good, I was afraid of it turning moldy on the inside. That’s when I purchased Fridababy NoseFrida The Snotsucker nasal aspirator and it changed my life(LOL). I promise it works wonders and it is a little gadget that is reassuring if your like me and feel so helpless when your babies get sick.
After taking care of their boogies for something extra calming and soothing I use Vick’s Baby Rub on their chest and back and whatever is left on my fingers I’ll dab on the tip of their nose. If it’s extra bad, I’ll rub it into their feet and put socks on them.
